We specialize in the repair and restoration of Advent, AR [Acoustic Research], Dahlquist, Bose, EPI, Klipsch, and other vintage speakers. We can also refoam most speakers at very reasonable prices.

"Brand" Update: Recoton
International, the parent company of these and other speaker
brands filed chapter 11 several months back, and the individual
brand rights have been sold off. This has made little impact on
our ability to supply OEM parts for these brands as handling of
service parts was already done by an outside firm. We are also
continuing to expand our own line of upgrade replacements.

Speaker Repair and Restoration: - We can help get your vintage speakers up and running again. Original replacement parts are available for most AR, Advent, Bose, NHT, and Ohm models, as well as quality parts for upgrading or repairing crossovers and level controls. If original parts are no longer available for your speaker, we can find you the closest available replacement. We also provide complete conversion kits, fitting your existing cabinets with all new high quality drivers and crossovers. Custom Speakers:
- In addition to
selling loudspeaker components, we also custom design/ build high quality loudspeakers at reasonable
prices. Did you know that the average set of
$1000+ "name brand" speakers contains
less than $200 worth of components? The
manufacturers have to cut corners by using
inexpensive drivers and low-grade crossover parts
so they can meet a "target" price after
the retail dealer adds in the average 40%-50%
markup. In true high end speakers, the retail price to component
cost ratio is even higher, generally around 10 to 1. For the price you would pay for a set of
mid-fi audio or home theater speakers, we can
create a set of custom Hi-Fi speakers built to
suit to your personal tastes using the highest
quality drivers and crossover components. In
terms of performance, our speakers can easily
match audiophile brands costing 2-4 times as
much. Custom speakers can come in a basic kit form with drivers,
crossover parts and cabinet plans, up to a completely finished
ready to run system. If you build your own cabinets that can cut
your total cost almost in half, but even if you need to buy them
pre-made you will still come out way ahead of buying retail. We also custom build speakers for special
applications where requirements of size, shape,
sound quality, or durability can not be met by

OEM and aftermarket replacement parts for brands like Allison, AR, Advent, Bose, Dahlquist, Dynaco, EPI, Genesis, KLH, Klipsch, Infinity, OHM, etc. We also specialize in finding suitable replacement parts for speakers which have no supply of original parts, cases where the manufacturer has gone out of business, changed ownership, or simple decided to abandon older models. For popular models from AR, Advent, Klipsch, and Bose, we have custom made upgrade/ replacement drivers, as well as crossover upgrade kits. For those looking to build a high quality subwoofer system, we have a wide choice of woofers, amps, and cabinets.
Pro Audio:
We carry a large selection of woofers, compression drivers, and horn lenses from Eminence, EV, Stanford Acoustics, P Audio, CTS [formerly Motorola], MG, Pro Systems, Foster, and Selenium. We also have high grade connectors from Neutrik and Speakon, pre-built high power crossover for 2 and 3-way cabinets, and various accessory parts such as grills, cabinet handles and corners.

Solen 400v poly caps [1% matching available], 150v-400v poly caps from Bennic and GE, Perfect Lay 14ga inductors, Alpha-Core copper foil inductors, Stock and custom value coils in 20ga to 12ga low resistance wire, Large value electrolytic caps in 100+volts at 5% and 10% tolerance, binding posts, cups, circuit boards, level controls and much more.
Speaker Cabinets [Home]:
We carry a wide assortment of pre-made speaker enclosures [from small surrounds to towers and subs] in several real wood or painted finishes. We can also custom build cabinets to your specifications. Vehicle specific custom fit enclosures are available for Mustangs, TA/Firebird/Camaro, 78-87 Grand Prix/Cutlass/ Monte Carlo, Chevy S-10/S-15/full size/reg. Or extended cab, Ford Ranger, Jeep Wrangler, Mazda and Toyota compact pickups. Boxes are available blank or precut, carpeted or unfinished. If there is no pre-made custom enclosure for your particular vehicle, we can have virtually any cabinet built from your measured drawing.
